Terry Tarasen was born in Bakersfield CA …. Son of a Progressive Advertising Credit Dentist in the late 60’s early 70’s…. Terry attended Fresno Adventist Academy, Fresno City Collage and Fresno State University.

Terry started his 17 year professional career in Radio, in the Fresno market with positions as Account Executive, Local Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and Acting Station Manager. Terry moved to the number 2 market in the Nation, Los Angeles CA Worked as Account Executive, and finally Regional Sales Manager for CBS Radio.

Terry took up cigar smoking 8 years ago when he changed many things in his life, choosing a sober of way life. He and his friends would sit around and enjoy their cigars and the fellowship that a good cigar brings out. He would smoke with a toothpick to get the full enjoyment from his cigars. Finding that the toothpick would burn, he moved to a turkey needle… Sitting one day he glance at the turkey needle and the idea for Havana Saver was born.
